Control Room Ep. 13: A Retrospective on the Lorwyn/Shadowmoor Block

On this episode of Control Room, Ryan and I return to 2007/2008
to talk about the Lorwyn/Shadowmoor block. Featuring tons of
tribal support for Faeries, Goblins, Kithkin, and other tribes,
the block has been forgotten by a lot of players. Ryan explains
how his own playing experience was shaped in part by these sets,
and we explore the various mechanics of each set in the block and
some of the cards we like. I use examples of a few cards I use
from the sets in my Selenia, Dark Angel deck (which is mentioned
in an earlier episode named "Selenia and Me".
