Assuming NPCs exist, how could we recognise them?

In this show, the boys raise another strange question, as to
whether NPC's exist and if they even do, how could we identify
them?

NPC's (Non Playable Characters) is a term to describe whether all
humans on the planet are indeed all human with a consciousness.
An NPC is similar to a zombie where it has no soul or
consciousness, but is merely created to aid this game of "life"
that we are all playing within.

But what do you think?
