Surfer and filmmaker Keith Malloy joins the lineup to talk about
his latest adventures. He discusses making his new film Mind
Surfing with 805 featuring Conner Coffin, how the partnership and
idea came together, what he learned about Conner while filming, and
the other surfers he worked with on the project. He looks back at
his lifetime in surfing, the impact his surfing family and brothers
all had on him, the influence of the California coastline, his
season on the Championship Tour, and then his move away from
competition altogether. He breaks down his journey into filmmaking,
starting out on his first movie Come Hell or High Water with Mark
Cunningham, collaborating with Patagonia on a bunch of films,
forming a production company, and working with athletes from sports
outside surfing. Keith also touches on the majestic nature of
Teahupo’o, surfing and working while raising three kids, and his
