Freshly crowned Longboard World Champion Soleil Errico joins The
Lineup to discuss winning her second World Title. She talks about
winning at her home break, how wild it is to surf flawless Malibu
with no one else out, the difference between this title and her
first one in 2018, and her shifting strategy throughout the event.
She breaks down the biggest heats along her road to the title, the
boards she was riding and how she sources her equipment, and her
goals for the 2023 Longboard Tour and beyond. She looks back at her
journey to becoming a longboard champ, being born in New York City,
moving to Hawaii and California and starting to surf First Point
Malibu all the time, her greatest surfing influences over the
years, and the moment she knew she wanted to be a professional
surfer. Soleil also touches on balancing college with traveling to
compete, working with young surfers through the Rising Tides
