book The Screwtape Letters. We will trace one of Lewis's main
themes in the letters: Screwtape's refusal to accept the
possibility of self-giving love. What does this particular blind
spot show us about the devil's rebellion against God? More
importantly, what can we learn about God's loving character
revealed to us in Christ?
