It’s pretty hard to argue that high volume training is an
effective way to grow.
Whether it be a high volume chest workout, high volume
back workout, high volume arms workout (#pumpchasers), or a high
volume shoulder workout, the evidence is clear - more volume
typically means more progress.
But, we want to be careful that we don’t always add sets
to our sessions, at the expense of more load or more reps.
Because in the training volume vs intensity discussion, intensity
is critically important, too.
So in the search for the optimal training volume for
hypertrophy, let’s be aware of all the factors.
