One of the key building blocks to all of options is Option
Moneyness.  


Whether you’re looking at purely in-the-money and
out-of-the-money options, or you’re focusing exclusively on
out-of-the-money calls and out-of-the-money puts, if you don’t
have a clear understanding of the differences between ITM, ATM,
and OTM options, it will be difficult to get comfortable with
more sophisticated strategies.
