Today we have Koya Nyangi, an entrepreneur, speaker, creative
director, fashion writer, cutting-edge stylist, cultural
producer, and CEO and founder of Let Me Show You Different: a
fashion company and blog where Koya is an advocate for ushering
in African fashion to a global audience and works on advancing
the African fashion landscape. Starting her career as a stylist,
Koya began to discover how much people limit what they wear based
on preconceived notions on how to express themselves. Growing up
in Kenya, Koya didn’t have social influences on how she wanted to
present herself. No one was telling her what to wear, so she wore
what felt best for herself. Koya’s whole perspective on fashion
is to look within, not from the outside; when you look within,
you honor who you are.

limitation into who you are as opposed to having a sense of
curiosity?”
