Ep. 40: Making Contact

In this episode, we discuss 1985's Making Contact aka Joey, from
director Roland Emmerich (Independence Day) which follows a
little boy who makes friends with an alien.  No, sorry, a
doll.  A ventriloquist's doll.  Because his house is
haunted.  No, sorry, that's the house nearby, which is owned
by the Bates family.  Okay, the film is a sum of its parts
(which are many), and is filled with more 80's nostalgia that
you'll know what to do with.  Listen as we take you through
