In our sophomore episode, we talk all about an early Akira
Kurosawa film, No Regrets For Our Youth. We felt it doesn't
really measure up to the films he was making even a few years
later, but still found a lot to dig into with this romantic drama
that turns into... earnest pastiche of Soviet propaganda films?
It takes an odd turn as you see Kurosawa learn how to make movies
in real time.
