Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Low Carb MD
Podcast. Joining the show today are two powerhouses in the
low-carb/keto and exercise world—Drs. Ben Bocchicchio and Ted
Naiman.

Dr. Ben Bocchicchio is a living legend in the fitness and
nutrition world. Since founding the concept of sports
conditioning in 1973, Dr. Ben has been using his vast knowledge
to help people with weight reduction, cosmetic enhancement,
general fitness, and rehabilitation. He is the creator of the
revolutionary S.Ma.R.T.-EX training system and has been inducted
into the National Fitness Hall of Fame.

Dr. Ted Naiman is a board-certified Family Medicine physician in
the department of Primary Care at a leading major medical center
in Seattle. His research and medical practice are focused on the
practical implementation of diet and exercise for health
optimization.

In their conversation, Brian, Tro, Ben, and Ted talk about how to
start exercising when you are just starting out, interval versus
zone 2 training, how behavior is related to exercise, the
relationship between certain types of exercise and hunger, doing
more exercise versus doing harder exercise, exercising with the
goal of greater and more diverse mobility, exercise for relative
versus absolute strength, to what degree (if any) volume and
variety matter when it comes to exercise, how to separate your
exercise times for maximal effect, exercise supplements like
creatine, protein consumption targets for various goals, protein
absorption, and adding fats.
