#64 Greg Fernando. Judged by the color of your skin.

“I went from being completely comfortable in Toronto, starting to
feel very uncomfortable in Sweden”, says Greg Fernando when
visiting us in the darkness. He is the founder of New to Sweden,
and one of the founders behind the inclusion initiative 1046. Greg
grew up in Canada, but when moving to Sweden as a person of color
it was a bit of a shock. For the first time we are making an
episode in English. Even though Greg prefers to be in control he
steps in to the darkness with an open mind and curiosity to
understand about blindness. We dive right into the subject
diversity and skin color, and find a lot of similarities concerning
the situation for people with disabilities and people of color.
