SRM Live S03E08 - Maastricht Culture: Time to say goodbye?

In the second hour of show we will discuss another serious topic:
Maastricht culture and media. Gemeente Maastricht is planning on
making major budget cuts on the local media and culture. One of
these is cutting all funding for RTV Maastricht. We've been trying
for weeks to get someone from gemeente maastricht to talk to us
about these plans and explain why they're planning to take these
steps. Unfortunately we haven't been able to find anyone from the
gemeente who wanted to make the time to talk to us about this. But
don't worry! We will have 2 special guests in our show this week
that can give us the ins and outs on the current situation, and
want to discuss the consequences this will have on our city.
Francois from RTV Maastricht will join us for the conversation, and
will update us on RTVM's budget and the importance of a this local
media platform. Alexander Lurvink, who started his own party within
the gemeente, will also join us with his expertise and insights on
how to step up.
