and Kwesi (@caribbean_papi868) will discuss the importance of
reading in our lives. Our guest, Val Karren, a friend of
@english_bookstore_maastricht, will share with us his experience as
a writer and book lover. Besides the vast history of books and the
influence they had in the past (and still have), it’s important to
note that there are different genres of books and they can teach us
something... from classics to psychology, books are an essential
element of personal development and growth. Having established that
reading has lots of benefits, we’ll challenge this idea and try to
find “downsides”, if there are any Nowadays, lots of students don’t
find time for reading anymore, because of university overwhelm and
