Creating A Kids Book About with Jelani Memory

This week on the pod we are joined by dad to six (yes six),
husband, Today’s Dad and Founder of A Kids Book About-Jelani
Memory! 


Jelani defines a Today’s Dad as someone who shows up, and as
someone who grew up without someone filling the role of a father
for him he knows just how impactful being there can be. But he
goes further than just being physically present, he engages with
his kids at their level and isn’t afraid to dive into the tough
stuff with them….enter A Kids Book About Racism


What started as a book he only wrote for his kids has now turned
into a company whose mission is to create children’s books that
are easy to understand but that talk about the important,
empowering and challenging elements of life. So far they have
covered topics like racism, money, divorice, creativity,
belonging, gratitude, failure, cancer and so much more.
