Defining Today’s Aba with Marshall Goldman

This week on the pod we are joined by Marshall Goldman. Marshall
is a dad to two, the Director of the Allan Jones Tennessee
Athletics Center, and a real Today’s Dad.


We had a great chat with Marshall about his journey through
fatherhood, the ins and outs of raising a blended family, and why
his kids call him Aba instead of dad. We also get into a little
bit of a deeper conversation regarding some of the social
injustice issues in our country and how Marshall has shared some
of his encounters with anti-semetic acts with his kids.  


Marshall claims his definition of a Today’s Dad is a cop-out, but
we think it is a very real answer to the question. His comparison
of teaching swimmers breaststroke to all the different styles of
fatherhood is very much worth the listen!
