"Courage Is" Jason Kander

This week on the pod I am joined again by Jason
Kander! Jason is a dad to two, the President of
Veterans Community Project, the host of the
Majority 54 Podcast, and the Co-Author of a new
children’s book that he wrote with his son, titled Courage
Is.
I had a great time connecting with Jason
again. We dove into a lot on this episode, but the
conversation started with talking about the new book that he and
his son True wrote, how that journey started and what it was like
getting to have that experience with his son.

This led to a deeper conversation around courage, Jason’s current
work helping to get folks out of Afghanistan, mental health, race
and its relationship to privilege and parenting, getting involved
in local elections, “normalizing stuff” and much more!
