Episode 288: You can’t have any relationship with anyone

This one took me a long time to figure out. You can't have any
relationship with anyone. Or, to put it another way, you can't
necessarily have the relationship you would like to have with the
person you happen to be attracted to. You can only have certain
types of relationships with certain types of people. Trying to
fit the person to whom you are attracted into the relationship
format you prefer is the path of pain. A better idea is to try to
fit the relationship to the person. I talk more about how to do
