Episode 2: Buddy Boeheim

In our second episode ever, Cole and Paddy share some stats on
the premiere episode, answer the Mailbag Question of the Week,
and preview the first ever guest: Buddy Boeheim (8:20). Buddy
dives into where he got his great work ethic, his growth as a
high school player, and the conversation between him and his dad
(Hall of Fame Coach Jim Boeheim) when he was offered a
scholarship to Syracuse. He then recaps his start at Syracuse,
how he stepped into a bigger role as a sophomore, and how he was
still able to improve his game during the pandemic (26:25). Next,
Buddy gives us an idea of what his mindset was during the 2021
NCAA Tournament run to the Sweet 16, his appearance on ESPN’s
First Take, and his decision to return to Syracuse for his senior
year (44:45). Finally, Buddy talks about how special his senior
season and senior night were, his pre-draft process and draft
night in New York City, and some of his goals heading into his
first year with the Detroit Pistons (55:23). Finally, Cole and
Paddy wrap up the episode and give a preview of what to expect
moving forward (1:12:15).
