Kirstyn Wegner lives in rural Minnesota with her high school
sweetheart husband and neurodivergent daughter, along with a
bunch of feral cats, a revolving cast of foster children, and a
pesky epilepsy diagnosis. She is a recovering pessimist who
teaches high school English, collects old books, directs plays
and musicals, loves rock concerts, travels as widely as time and
budget will allow, and writes when she can find the time. Visit
her on Facebook at
https://www.facebook.com/thefrustratedepileptic and Instagram
@finding.glitter.in.the.litter.

Kirstyn narrates her unique journey to motherhood through foster
care and adoption. We talk about the challenges of building love
and relationships with children and their biological parents and
how Kirstyn developed a special relationship with her daughter's
birth mom.

Kirstyn's story is heartfelt and encouraging, especially in
learning to accept and love our children and families through
unique and challenging circumstances.
