McEvers-Overton, the wife of Officer Josiah Overton who was shot
in the line of duty in March of 2020 while responding to an
active shooter. Abby has been leading the charge of bringing
awareness and support to spouses of officers who have been
severely injured in the line of duty. Abby talks about what it is
like from the spouses point of view, how she got through it and
why she ultimately decided to start the survivor's spouse
group.
