Season One. Episode Six - featuring Donovan McKenzie

Donovan is a community mental health advocate with special
interest in men's issues. He has spent years helping people to
challenge ideas about what it means to be a man. His insights
will offer you a fresh take on culturally acceptable norms for
males and expose dangerously limiting definitions of masculinity.


 


Donovan's experience with depression and PTSD has made him
passionate about ending the stigma. By sharing his story in a
vulnerable and creative way, he challenges listeners to shift
perspectives and develop the courage to reach out for help. 





He founded Heart of a Man to offer an alternative and the
organization is making an impact in our community.
