弊局のキャンペーンのお知らせを踏まえて例外的にシーズン3の第9話を1週間早くアップします。今回はケアンズ在住のバリスタゆみさんに、クイーンズランドでの「ワーホリ」の今についてお話を伺いました。ブリスベンのカフェで数ヶ月働いた後、ケアンズに移り住み日本にいる時よりも高い収入を得ているゆみさんは、日々英語を磨きながらとても幸せな場所にたどり着いたようなので彼女のストーリーをぜひお聴きください。

In our a-week-earlier-than-usual Episode 9 of Season 3, we chat
with Yumi-san, a barista currently living in Cairns, who tells us
what it's like to live and work in Queensland right now. Yumi-san
worked in a cafe in Brisbane for a few months before moving to
Cairns and where she is earning more than what she would be in
Japan while improving her English daily. Her happy optimism is
definitely infectious so take a listen!

Tourism and Events Queensland has launched a Working Holiday
Maker campaign where five young Japanese have the chance to
qualify for jobs in Cairns and the Gold Coast. The campaign runs
until 12 March so for anyone thinking of working in Australia,
here's your chance!
