The war in Ukraine continues to provide Tracy with opportunities
to explore the current crisis and draw parallels with the British
Empire. Finding parallels and ‘connecting the dots’ are
continuing to help Tracy build on her own learning journey about
Britain’s colonial past. This time, Tracy is inspired by the
Kingdom of Ashanti, using it to build a perspective of how
nations often rise, fall and rise again due to holding on to
those primal elements which embody the essence of our human
nature but also transcend beyond the natural.
