James Field, LabGenius: Framing success & rationalising risk

James Field’s decision to enter the Startup world is somewhat at
odds with many of the entrepreneurs who feature on this show.
James weighed up the risk of continuing in academia with starting
his own business, and determined that overall, Startup life was
the less risky move of the two! LabGenius was born: a deep-tech
startup that uses AI to discover the next generation of drugs. In
this chat with Amrit, they discuss the different ways to define
and measure success, the power of mentors, and leading by example
to create a culture (both at work and at home).
