The MinION helping to fight the next pandemic

It’s no bigger than Mars bar, but a device called the MinION
could prove vital in the fight against the next pandemic.


The MinION – a DNA/RNA sequencer – has already been deployed in
the battle against Ebola and was crucial in helping to identify
mutations of Covid-19.


We speak to Gordon Sanghera, CEO of Oxford Nanopore Technologies,
which developed the ground-breaking device, to find out more
about how it could help change the future of medicine.
