Sarah Hagan Backstage with Eric Harland

Eric Harland is an incredibly creative jazz drummer who leads his
own group and plays with an amazing array of superstar musicians
including Charles Lloyd, Dave Holland, Joshua Redman, McCoy Tyner,
Kurt Rosenwinkel, Chris Potter, Terence Blanchard and many, many
more. Eric has released his own music, played on multiple Grammy
nominated albums, owns a recording studio in New York City and is
just a wonderful, insightful human being. Today we will talk about
creativity, growth, and finding the beauty in the process of
looking inward and improvising in life. Eric tells us what he has
been up to the last couple of years, and what he has on the
