Following the tragic events which took place during Travis Scott’s
AstroWorld concert in Houston, the rapper has released a video
discussing the situation.

During the concert eight people were killed between the ages of 14
and 27, and the incident also led to 25 people being taken to
hospital and more than 300 others being treated at the scene for
minor injuries.

Many were left unimpressed with Scott’s video, claiming that he did
not properly apologise for what happened. Here is everything we

TRAVIS SCOTT RELEASES ASTROWORLD APOLOGY VIDEO
Travis Scott uploaded a video on his Instagram story on November
7th. The video was in black and white, during which Scott discusses
the tragic situation which occurred during his AstroWorld concert
in Houston.

The rapper said: “I just want to send out prayers to the ones that
were lost last night, we’re actually working right now to identify
the families so we can help assist them through this tough times.
You know my fans, my fans really mean the world to me and I always
just really want to leave them with a positive experience.”


He went on to explain: “Anytime I can make out anything that’s
going on, I stop the show and help them get the help they need, you
know. I could just never imagine the severity of the
situation.”

Scott also told fans that he has been working “closely” with the
police and fire department, and urged fans to contact the local
authorities if they “have any information.”

TWITTER REACTS TO SCOTT’S “GROSS” APOLOGY
Following the Scott’s video, thousands of people took to Twitter to
discuss the situation. One fan wrote:

“I’m not sorry, but Travis Scott’s apology felt so fake. Mf really
thought that by rubbing his braids through 96% of the video, we’d
feel empathetic for him bye.”

Another Twitter use said: “Travis Scott’s apology to the families
of those affected by the tragedy at his concert is appalling whole
time he rubbing his head like a student that got caught cheating in
a test? Poor.”
