33 // Leaving Mallorca. A Farewell to Jess.

Today, on what would have been Jess's 37th birthday, I fondly
remember my dear friend who left us far too soon, just before her
31st birthday in 2017. Her absence left a void in my life,
prompting me to embark on a journey of healing, self-discovery,
and transformation.


In "Ellechemy," my memoir, I open up the pages of my life,
beginning with the profound loss of Jess. This event served as a
catalyst, propelling me from the shores of Mallorca to the
enchanting landscapes of Bali. As we mark the six-year
anniversary of my last day in Mallorca, it brings forth a moment
of poignant reflection.


Chapter 5 of my memoir stands as a pivotal moment in my life's
journey. With unwavering determination, I embraced change,
bidding farewell to the past and preparing for a new adventure in

with the food in my fridge that still bore Jess's essence.
