Amos 6 • Apathy & Arrogance

Joel McCarty • Amos pronounces two more woes on the nation of
Israel, specifically toward those who hold positions of power and
privilege. From these woes, we learn that for the covenant people
of God, apathy toward injustice is not okay. We must turn to
Jesus, who laid aside His own power and position to redeem the
oppressors and free the oppressed. He is our only hope.
