Amos 7:10-17 • Truth & Exile

Joel McCarty • The message of Amos is rejected by the people of
Israel, but Amos still continues to speak truth. Because
ultimately, Amos knows that what He speaks is God's truth, not
his own. And because of Israel's rejection of this message, Amos
prophesies that they will be sent off into exile. But there is
One coming who will cross heaven and earth to win His people back
and bring them into covenant union once again.
