Episode 73 - Some Antics?

Hello fellow OMgeeks! We're getting back on track and will be
dropping the last couple of episodes that were delayed in being
released. Some of the stories may be out of date, but our geekiness
is timeless. Once again we are recording live from the shop floor
at Current Comics. In this episode we learn that N1ck's elementary
school experience was very odd and included a lot of drugs and
knife fights. We get nostalgic over old toy ads. Jesse talks about
a the Kokomo Toy Store in Indiana (www.kokomotoys.com) and all of
the vintage items they have. They discuss the Academy Award
nominations. (Hey. I said some of the news was old.) They make
predictions on what may take the awards. (Now you can see who was
right.) We talk about one-hit wonder bands. The OMGeeks dip into
the sports world to talk about that Houston baseball team that
cheated and they method they used to do it. In Star Wars news - The
original draft of 'Star Wars: Episode 9' leaks on the internet.
'Rise of the Resistance' finally opens at Disneyland and the crowds
arrive with it. 'The Rise of Kylo Ren' comic book drops. Eminem
surprises everyone and drops a new album. N1ck confesses that he
was recently watching an Olsen Twins movie. N2ck and Jesse question
