Rickey Gates is a runner, writer and photographer from Colorado.
Rickey has competed in ultra running races all over the world. In
2017, he set out on a run across the United States in an effort to
better understand himself and his country. He has since chronicled
the journey in his book, Cross Country: A 3,700-Mile Run to Explore
Unseen America and the remarkable film, TransAmericana. We had the
honour of catching up with Rickey from his home in Santa Fe and
discuss the book, film and much more.
