Episode 9: Half Baked v. Good Will Hunting

Best friend and youtube fanatic Rene Montelongo comes over and
shows me Half Baked. I reveal how little I know about the 90s and
stoner culture and we discuss the trope in movies where a chill
stoner gets with an ambitious babe. We laugh, no one cries, and
my cat gets in the way. Classic Dale.


Then I show Rene Good Will Hunting. He thinks it's a movie about
math, and he's right! But mostly we discuss how it's a movie
about being ambitious (there's that word again!) and trying your
best even if you end up failing. Or something. We spent more time
on Half Baked.


I learned a lot and I had a good time.
