Hawaii Five-O -- Cocoon (1968)

McGarrett is a badass with a badge. At least we think he has a
badge, we never see it. But, he is definitely mad about a spy
friend who was murdered and nothing is going to stop him from
finding out what happened. Nothing! There is a also some
mysterious Chinese agent that is trying to extract information
