After chasing some bad guys, KITT gets hit buy some high voltage
wires and loses his memory. He leaves Michael to die in the
desert and is befriended by a boy who is running away from the
same bad guys. Michael, heartbroken, makes it a high priority to
find KITT and not worry much about the bad guys who want to blow
up a dam. In the end Michael finds, and fixes KITT, and stops the
bad guys. It was a touching episode.
