Republicans Crumble, Explosion Near Russian Plane Before Crash?, Bush Vs. Gore

Mystery still surrounds the crash a Russian passenger plane Metrojet Flight 9628 out of Egypt's Sina Peninsula. 224 people were on the doomed Airbus A321-200 , most of them Russian who were leaving the Egyptian resort Sharm el-Sheikh. The plane was cruising at roughly 30,000 feet when it disintegrated. Metrojet officials have ruled out pilot error or technical faults. One official from the airline released a statement stating that the only thing that could have brought down the plane was an external source.

ISIS has com forward and claimed to have downed the plane and have even released a video of what appears to be a plane falling from the sky. So far officials within the Intelligence community have said that while highly unlike that ISIS posses weapons that can reach the altitude that the plane was traveling out, they aren't ruling out the possibility.

A U.S. Satellite traveling over the Sinai recorded a heat bloom at the same time that the plane crashed.

The A321-200was involved in an accident back in early 2000 when the tail struck the runway as it was landing.

Both black boxes have been recovered.
