A Texas teenager who got probation for a drunken driving crash that killed four people remained missing Thursday following the emergence of a video allegedly showing him at a party where alcohol was being consumed, authorities said. On the night of June 15, 2013, Couch and some friends stole beer from a Walmart. That same evening Hollie Boyles and her daughter Shelby left their home to help Breanna Mitchell, whose SUV had broken down by the side of a road. Brian Jennings, a youth pastor, was driving past and also stopped to help. Couch plowed into them, killing them all. The crash threw two passengers out of the bed of Couch's truck, injuring both severely. The parents of one of the injured teens, who suffered debilitating brain injuries, sued Couch's family for $2 million.
Maryland State Attorney Marilyn Mosby feeling the heat as the states case against one of the police officer involved in the death of Freddie Gray unraveled and ended in a hung jury. Some of her critics allege that Mosby was to aggressive in charging the officers by not taking more time to explore the evidence to build a stronger case.

San Bernardino killer's friend arrested, to be charged with supporting terrorism after allegedly buying rifles used in shooting.
The feeling is apparently mutual.
Putin offered high praise for the billionaire businessman-turned-Republican presidential front-runner on Thursday during an annual news conference with reporters.
"He is a bright and talented person without any doubt," Putin said, adding that Trump is "an outstanding and talented personality."
And in remarks closely mirroring Trump's assessment of the campaign, the Russian leader called Trump "the absolute leader of the presidential race," according to the Russian TASS news agency.
Former House Speaker Dennis Hastert suffered a stroke and has been hospitalized since early November, shortly after he pleaded guilty in a federal hush-money case, his lawyer said Thursday.
