Does Alternative Comedy Get Too Much Credit?

"Alternative" comedy. Much like it's cousin "alternative" music, this species is often misaligned and misunderstood. Saddled with a kind-of dumb and misleading name, some people talk about how great this particular creature is, which inevitably leads to other people saying "It thinks it's so great, but it's not that great." This week we discuss "alt" comedy, what it is, what it isn't, how it differs from "traditional" comedy and how it's basically the same thing is a slightly newer and cooler box.
