THE ANTHROPOLOGY OF DESIGN

Irene Kronenberg and Alon Baranowitz use these five words to
describe the work of their interior design and architecture studio,
Baranowitz + Kronenberg Architecture, based in Amsterdam and Tel
Aviv. During the past twenty years, the studio has become renowned
for creating hotels, restaurants and public and commercial spaces.
With their anthropological approach to design, they create bold,
unique objects that inspire people. To achieve this, they sometimes
take unusual paths, such as visiting 24 bars in New York in 3 days
for a restaurant commission... So, what's the secret of a
successful project? Katharina Beatriz Varga and Dijane Slavic have
the honour and pleasure to talk to Irene and Alon about this today.
