Kann man seinen Bindungsstil verändern oder bleibt eine
ängstliche Bindung ein Leben lang bestehen? Diese Frage
beschäftigt viele Menschen, die unter Verlustangst leiden, in
Beziehungen schnell verunsichert sind oder nach einem
Vertrauensbruch selbst dann noch Alarm spüren, wenn der Partner
längst wieder verlässlich ist. Die Bindungsforschung zeigt ein
differenziertes und zugleich hoffnungsvolles Bild: Bindungsmuster
sind erstaunlich stabil, aber sie sind kein unveränderliches
Schicksal. Neue Beziehungserfahrungen, Psychotherapie und ein
stabileres Selbstbild können dazu beitragen, dass ängstliche
Bindung abnimmt und mehr innere Sicherheit entsteht.
