The Beach- HOMING: Strouds Run

“The Beach” is the third of three audio guides built for Stroud's
Run State Park in Athens, Ohio. The guide begins in the parking
lot at Stroud’s Run Beach. 


“homing”- an ability to return to a place after traveling a far
distance/ to move or be aimed towards/ to focus attention on


Homing is a site-specific audio installation and participatory
performance score for Strouds Run State Park in Athens, OH.
Through a guided audio experience, Homing invites participants to
bring awareness to attention, sensation, and movement in
relationship to the local landscape. 


The audio experience is a permanent installation in Strouds Run
State Park.
