Bull Dog Shelter House- HOMING: Strouds Run

"Bull Dog Shelter House" is the first of three audio guides built
for Strouds Run State Park in Athens, Ohio. The guide begins at
the parking lot for the Bull Dog Shelter House, about half a mile
down Strouds Run Road from the Strouds Run Beach.





“homing”- an ability to return to a place after traveling a far
distance/ to move or be aimed towards/ to focus attention on


Homing is a site-specific audio installation and participatory
performance score for Strouds Run State Park in Athens, OH.
Through a guided audio experience, Homing invites participants to
bring awareness to attention, sensation, and movement in
relationship to the local landscape. 



The audio experience is a permanent installation in Strouds Run
State Park.
