Mark Aedy – Chairman of EMEA and APAC at Moelis & Company (#19)

In this episode we met with Mark Aedy – Chairman of
EMEA and APAC at Moelis & Company – who shared some of
his personal experiences gained over many years in the financial
industry. Before Mark joined Moelis & Company, he worked at
HSBC, NatWest Markets, Bankers Trust, ran Investment Banking at
Merrill Lynch in EMEA and finally joined Moelis & Company in
2009.


In addition to his role as Managing Director and Chairman of EMEA
& Asia at Moelis & Company, he serves as a Non-Executive
Director of British Land, the FTSE 100 real estate group, and is
a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University. Furthermore, Mark was for
7 years the Senior Independent Director at the Royal Marsden, the
cancer hospital in London, a global leader in cancer-related drug
discovery, and was also a Trustee of The HALO Trust, the global
de-mining charity operating in 28 current or former conflict
zones, including Ukraine, Afghanistan, Cambodia, and Sri
Lanka.
