CREATIVE INDUSTRIES x AI & THE REALITY BEHIND BUILDING SOMETHING FROM SCRATCH.
In this extra long episode, we sit down with Costa from Botinsky Labs & Eventbarista Simon from Outliers Coffee — two builders, two very different worlds, one shared week in Portugal that turned into something much bigger than planned.
Costa is the founder of Costa Boards & now the mind behind Botinsky Labs — diving deep into AI, building systems, workshops and a community around what's actually possible when you stop being afraid of the tools.
Simon is the founder of Outliers Coffee, a specialty roastery based in Lucerne, Siwtzerland — someone who came in saying "I don't really use AI" and walked out having built two apps & a completely new perspective on his business.
We recorded this after almost a week of Hackathon-style sessions — 9am to past midnight, every day, building, failing, breaking, learning. But this conversation goes beyond AI. It's about what happens when you actually sit down and build something. About the gap between Instagram-polished success & the real struggles behind every business.About why most people get stuck before they even start.
Between hype & reality.Between solo founder loneliness & finding your people.Between perfection & just doing the thing.
We talk about why AI isn't a bubble, what changes when you stop being scared of new tools & how creative people can actually use this stuff to build worlds they care about.
About highs & lows in entrepreneurship, about being present, about the things nobody posts on Instagram. About coffee, craftsmanship & why quality still matters more than ever.
A conversation about building, learning & staying human in a world that's moving faster every day & week.
IN THIS EPISODE– Why AI is not a bubble & what most people get wrong– From zero to two apps in a few hours: Simon's story– From Costa Boards to Botinsky Labs: Costa's journey into AI– The reality of being a solo founder (and why nobody talks about it)– Why creative people benefit more from AI, not less– Hammers, houses & how creative tools shape what you build– Specialty coffee, craftsmanship & the value of doing things right– Highs, lows & what nobody posts on IG– Dreaming bigger: defining your actual ideal life– Workshops, retreats & building communities that matter– Why the next AI hub might be on Ibiza

FROM MALIBU KITCHENS TO IBIZA MARKETS.
In this episode, I sit down with Mark — founder of Vedra Kombucha.
What started as home brewing in California back in 2009 slowly turned into something real. No big plan. No clear roadmap. Just curiosity, consistency & showing up.
In 2013, Mark moved to Ibiza — bringing kombucha to an island that didn’t even know what kombucha was.
Selling bottles at markets in San Juan, San Rafael & San Miguel. Talking to people. Letting them taste. Building trust, one conversation at a time.
Fast forward to today — a growing team, organic ingredients, traditional brewing methods & a brand that’s deeply rooted in the island’s lifestyle.
But this isn’t just about kombucha.
It’s about building something from nothing.
About figuring things out as you go.
About choosing a slower, more conscious way of living — in a world that’s constantly speeding up.
Between dusty market days & clean production setups, gut feeling & real decisions. Between LA energy & Ibiza calm.
We talk about early struggles, about introducing something completely unknown, about health, alcohol & shifting perspectives — personally & culturally.
About flavors, process & creativity. About mistakes, growth & staying true to your thing. No shortcuts. No hype. Just real steps over time. Learning by doing. A conversation about patience, lifestyle & doing things your own way.

– From home brewing in Malibu to Ibiza street markets
– Starting without a plan & learning by doing

BETWEEN PASSION AND FLIGHT MODE
This episode is an invitation to look behind the scenes of a collaboration that thrives on trust, clarity, and personal depth—but also on healthy boundaries.
I talk with Christian Pütmanns about the CENTREVIVE CLUB and the balance between connection and availability. Between passion and feasibility. Between being approachable—and yet not losing yourself.
What does it mean to work together on something genuine—without burning out? How honest can feedback be? And where does collegiality end and leisure begin?
A conversation about creative responsibility, professional friendship, and the strength of being unavailable, offline, sometimes.
CONTENT OF THIS EPISODE
– Between Proximity & Clarity: Collaboration with Attitude
– Why Not Every WhatsApp Message Requires an Immediate Response
– Setting Boundaries Without Losing Connection
– The CENTREVIVE CLUB as a Space for True Development
– Personal Energy as a Limited but Valuable Resource
