Sonya Shelton was Head of Communications for The Walt Disney
Company during one of the most difficult times for the company.
It fell on Sonya’s shoulders to keep her team motivated and
inspired at work when the company was going through what can only
be described as a messy divorce.

Since leaving Disney, Sonya founded an incredible consulting
company called “Executive Leadership Consulting.” They help
organisations get clear on their vision, communicate it with
their team in a way that resonates with them and inspires them
and align the entire organisation to make it a reality. Sonya
also wrote an incredible book called “You’re An Executive, But
Are You A Leader?”

Sonya opened up about what she learnt whilst working for The Walt
Disney Company. She shared some incredible stories and her
approach of Red Thread Leadership that all leaders should
use.
