Farzin Saber is Global Vice President Digital Project Office at
IKEA Group.


Born in Iran, Farzin grew up as a refugee child in Denmark. His
childhood and young years were shaped by war, exile, and
separation. His life took him from refugee camps in Europe to
global boardrooms. Today, he is Global Vice President at IKEA
Group. 


This week’s Friday Inspiration, a part from Episode 22 of Besser
werden with Farzin takes us back to when he started his first job
working on a construction yard as a university graduate.
Travelling five hours a day to work an eight hours shift, and
doing what no one else wants to do. He delves into this
resilience that brought him the first real job and showed him for
the first time that he was worth something. I


This experience became the career catalyst and the foundation of
where Farzin is today.
