In this episode we are discussing with Professor Steven
Lockley why prioritising sleep is one of the most important
measures, if not THE most important measure, to improve your
energy and performance. Steven Lockley is an Associate Professor
of Medicine and Neuroscientist at the Harvard Medical School
specialising in sleep and circadian disorders. Steven has written
the book "A short introduction to sleep" with Russel Foster.
Steven has been working also as a consultant for Hintsa
Performance, helping high performing individuals from F1 to the
corporate world to optimise their sleep and mitigate effects of
jet lag. In addition, Steven has develop the "timeshifter" app, a
very handy and science-based tool to help you speed up the
transition of your internal body clock whilst traveling, as well
as assist you in managing shift work:
