Welcome to this international edition of "Wie geht's", a podcast of
conversations with people working in the arts, cultural policy and
the creative sector, reflecting on how the current crises affect
the cultural sphere. The host is Martin Zierold, director of the
Institute for Arts and Media Management at the University of Music
and Performing Arts in Hamburg, Germany, which is producing this
podcast. The title of this podcast "Wie geht's" has a double
meaning. It translates as "How are you?“. We want to know how
people in the cultural realm are doing during these extraordinary
and challenging times. Yet, "Wie geht's" also means "how does it
work?“ With this podcast, we hope to share fresh ideas, learnings,
stories how we learn to rethink our practices and our role for
societies.
