#16 João, what's the weather like in Aveiro today?

In the course of this conversation, you'll get a deep dive into the
differences and similarities between Brazilian and European culture
(if there even is such a thing as one "European" culture?!). Once
again, this is an episode recorded in English, as I talk to my
Brazilian ex-flatmate João, whom I used to share an apartment with
in São Paulo and who recently moved to Europe, himself. João is now
doing his PhD in metrology in Aveiro, Portugal – so of course we
HAD to briefly talk about the weather (and João's experience in
presenting the weather forecast on TV in Brazil...), too! We're
getting slightly nostalgic about living in São Paulo, exchanging
travel ideas both for Brazil and Europe and food talk is also
involved. After chatting with João, I definitely want to travel
(and eat all those great dishes) again and I hope you guys will
feel the same, too!
